Dr Kinesh Patel

Dr Kinesh Patel graduated from Imperial College London with distinction in 2004 and then undertook postgraduate specialist training in the North West of London.

He was appointed as a joint consultant in gastroenterology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital along with the Royal Brompton Hospital in 2016. He was awarded a research MD from Imperial College London in 2017 after submitting his thesis on quality markers in colonoscopy and cancer detection.

Dr Patel’s medical procedures include the following: Upper GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Polypectomy. He jointly runs the Food Allergy Service at the Royal Brompton and runs the nutrition service at Chelsea and Westminster. Dr Patel’s interests include the screening of cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition and food allergy. Dr Patel presents his work internationally and publishes extensively. He has written three current medical textbooks.
