Carbon Net Zero Statement
Reflux UK Limited is committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in alignment with UK Government policy and the NHS Net Zero ambition.
We recognise the critical role suppliers play in supporting the NHS to deliver a net zero health service. As such, we are actively working to measure, manage, and reduce our carbon footprint across our operations and value chain.

Our Commitment
Reflux UK Limited commits to:
- Achieving net zero emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 (applicable subsets) by 2050 at the latest
- Supporting the NHS ambition to reach net zero by 2045 for directly controlled emissions, and by 2045–2050 for supply chain emissions
- Meeting the requirements set out in PPN 06/21 and subsequent NHS procurement policies
Carbon Footprint Measurement
We are undertaking steps to:
- Quantify our baseline greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol
- Include emissions from:
- Scope 1: Direct emissions (e.g. fuel use, company vehicles)
- Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity
- Scope 3: Value chain emissions, including procurement, logistics, and waste
Emissions Reduction Plan
We are implementing a structured Carbon Reduction Plan that includes:
- Improving energy efficiency across all operations
- Transitioning to renewable energy sources where feasible
- Reducing business travel emissions and encouraging sustainable alternatives
- Working with suppliers to reduce upstream emissions
- Minimising waste and increasing recycling and circular practices
We will publish and maintain a compliant Carbon Reduction Plan in line with NHS and Crown Commercial Service requirements.
Governance and Reporting
- Senior leadership is accountable for delivery of our net zero commitment
- Progress will be reviewed annually and reported transparently
- Our Carbon Reduction Plan will be updated regularly to reflect progress and evolving best practice
Offsetting
Where residual emissions remain, we will use verified carbon offsetting schemes as a last resort, ensuring alignment with recognised standards.
Continuous Improvement
Reflux UK Limited is committed to continuous improvement and will:
- Set interim targets to ensure steady progress toward net zero
- Align with evolving NHS procurement and sustainability requirements
- Engage employees and stakeholders in achieving our environmental goals
